"The Venetian (and its sister property The Palazzo) offer families a sophisticated night of sleep in five-diamond luxury. The all-suite Palazzo side offers families a bit more space to spread out than the typical hotel room and the numerous pools connecting the two properties vary in depth and size making them perfect for groups of small families and kids. "The most memorable thing about The Venetian is its huge array of restaurants. It has always played a major role in the food scene in Las Vegas (especially in the celeb chef arena), and it has recently made some welcome changes. David Chang’s Majordomo Meat & Fish, inspired by its sister restaurant in Los Angeles is in; Estiatorio Milos relocated its incredible seafood (and best lunch deal on the Strip) from Cosmopolitan; and Mott 32 is some of the best Chinese food you can have on the Strip."
"Winding through the Venetian Hotel are the man made canals where gondolas are guided through by a personal gondolier who sings you Italian songs during your ride. Our gondolier had a great voice, sang a wonderful rendition of “That’s Amore” and rocked the boat which delighted our daughter. There is a choice of indoor and outdoor gondola rides and each gondola seats up to four people and last about 14 minutes."
