Each season, the Horticulture and Engineering team transform the Botanical Garden with beautiful flower displays and colors. We visited the Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Garden during the Spring Celebration, which is from March 13th-May 22nd."
"3600 S Las Vegas Blvd Las Vegas NV 89109, map | Hours: Open 24 Hrs. The Bellagio does an amazing job at updating their gardens seasonally. We did a post of their 2014 Christmas display, but there’s always something new to see each season."

Nature trails wind through the park for walking, jogging and mountain biking. Picnic areas have freshly-cut grass and the sweet fragrance of flowers."

"Lorenzi Park was the vision of David G. Lorenzi, a French immigrant who bought 80 acres of property around two miles west of the first townsite in 1912. The park started as Lorenzi’s Lake Park in 1926 with a dance pavilion, pool, lakes, and gardens. It is recorded on the city’s Historic Property Register as a historic region and on the Nevada State Register of Historic places."
"Just west of Las Vegas, the limestone cliffs and alpine forested peaks of the lofty Spring Mountains rise unmistakably above the Mojave Desert. The Spring Mountains Visitor Gateway is a modern, state-of-the-art interpretive center featuring educational dioramas, exhibits and artworks. Make this your first port of call for explorations into the Spring Mountains National Recreation Area section of the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest."
"For rowdy fun and never-ending entertainment, visit OneBar at Golden Gate Hotel & Casino. Enjoy refreshing frozen drinks and ice cold beer all while taking in the Fremont Street Experience. Oh, and don’t be alarmed when bottles and glasses go flying through the air – it’s all part of the fun."
"There are plenty of rock, metal, and punk bars with live music and ass-kicking jukeboxes. But a rock club is a little bit harder to come by. Count’s Vamp’d is a nightclub entirely dedicated to all things rock and metal."
"Fascinating multimedia exhibits focus on science, technology and the social history of the 'Atomic Age,' which lasted from WWII until atmospheric bomb testing was driven underground in 1961 and a worldwide ban on nuclear testing was declared in 1992. View footage of atomic testing and examine southern Nevada's nuclear past, present and future, from Native American ways of life to the environmental legacy of atomic testing. Don't miss the ticket booth (how could you?); it's a Nevada Test Site guard-station replica."

"4276 Spring Mountain RoadThe original Weera Thai Kitchen on Sahara is fine, but the newer one in Chinatown has a colorful dining room (with large overhead light fixtures and walls covered in faux foliage) that feeds off the energy of the new Shanghai Plaza. The outdoor patio has its charm too—with decorative bicycles, umbrellas, and bistro lights. Happy hour runs a generous 5–9 pm, although the good stuff is on the main menu."
