"The specialty at Wing Lei, on the ground floor of the Wynn Las Vegas, is Peking duck, that crispy-skinned game bird that happens to go well with thin pancakes sluiced with a bit of hoisin. If you’re in the mood for waterfowl, try the $108.88 Peking duck tasting menu, with table-carved duck, duck salad, duck and foie gras shu mai, duck with braised eggplant, and duck fried rice. Did I mention this particular menu is slightly duck-heavy?"
"Wing Lei was the first Chinese restaurant in the United States to be awarded a Michelin star, and you’ll understand why as soon as you take a bite—the food is absolutely showstopping. Set in a dining room the bursts with bright white, jade, and gold colors, Wing Lei attracts diners looking to celebrate a special event in style, with beautifully made signature cocktails and the must-have Imperial Peking duck."
"Located at Wynn Las Vegas, Wing Lei is famous for being the first Chinese restaurant in North America to earn a coveted Michelin star. The opulent dining room is the perfect place to experience authentic Chinese cuisine with some modern flair. The classy and decadent dining room is adorned with gold and is the home of two pomegranate trees that are more than 100-years old."
"Address: 5115 Spring Mountain Rd., Las Vegas, NVPhone: 702-431-5802Hours: 11:30am-9:30pm DailyWebsite: http://www.veggiehousevegas.com/. Veggie House, operated by Chef Kenny who also created VegeWay, is located on the second floor of a cramped building full of mostly other Asian restaurants. Veggie House is a very popular place in Chinatown that has earned its reputation as being simply delicious."
"As a Las Vegas vegan restaurant that’s often frequented by omnivores and vegetarians alike, Veggie House dishes up veganized Chinese meals. With faux versions of shrimp, scallops, geese, duck, fish, and beef, most diners cannot tell the difference between the traditional dishes and their meat-laden counterparts at other Asian restaurants. Regulars swear by the variety of tofu dishes, too."
"A modern vege/vegan interpretation of classic dishes is what you’ll find at this Chinatown gem. Read any review of this place and you’ll see that non-vegetarians and vegans go crazy for it. The orange “chicken” is raved about constantly and the vegan sushi is a must try."
"The Gold Coast’s Ping Pang Pong is the gold standard for dim sum by day and Cantonese dishes by night. More than 80 dim sum dishes spanning mango lobster scallop roll and an aromatic duck bun with southern Canton five-spice roasted pulled duck roll through the dining room steamed, fried, or grilled from 10 a.m."
"4 out of 5 stars Restaurants Chinese. Off-Strip at the Gold Coast casino, Ping Pang Pong has long been the standard for dim sum in Las Vegas. Settle into the casual space and dig into a parade of dumplings, buns and rolls."
"David Chang’s Majordomo Meat & Fish at the Venetian, his largest restaurant yet in the former Carnevino, opened on Dec. 30, 2019, so I was excited to finally dine there, as I am a fan of Momofuku and Milk Bar (crack pie!), the latter of which is co-owned by Christina Tossi. Majordomo delivered big time with smoked prime rib, duck crispy rice with foie gras, Bing bread with butter and honey, pickled onion rings, macaroni, marinated mushrooms, beef tartare and a surprisingly fantastic fudge brownie. The restaurant was busy!"
"A spinoff of its Los Angeles counterpart, the expansive Majordomo Meat & Fish within the Palazzo tower at Venetian is a celebration of land and sea with a Korean kick. Bing bread, flaky and fluffy like naan, should be used to scoop healthy portions of nutty chickpea dip with uni. And for the meat lover, smoked prime rib is cured for a day in salt, then served with classic sides, including mashed potatoes and creamed spinach, with jus."
"Celebrity chef David Chang’s Majordomo brings an Asian-inflected steakhouse to the Palazzo. Try the bing bread as a starter, a warm flatbread with optional add-ons like lamb and pickled jalapeño or shaved foie gras and cranberry, and then treat yourself to one of Chang’s white oak-grilled steaks or roasted black cod with bok choy. One other notable offering at Majordomo: A secret karaoke room."
